In October, 2014 Sherri Eakin filmed scenes for the upcoming short film The Last Fare. Sherri plays the leading role of Maggie, opposite writer, director, and actor Anil Bajaj (Sonny, lead). Today, the film’s producers released the first theatrical trailer. The Last Fare will start making it’s rounds in the film festival circuit across the country later this year. The film centers on a cab driver who must come to terms with his own life while watching a passenger’s fade away.

Sherri Eakin is set to star in the upcoming short film Forever Young, filming in September 2014. Forever Young is a psychological drama from director and writer Christopher Garner. The film will be presented first at the Tupelo Halloween Horror Film Festival in Tupelo, Mississippi, and will then be submitted to film festivals around the country.
Forever Young follows a young woman struggling with the horrors of her past. The film is directed and written by Mississippi native Christopher Garner, and also stars Jeremy Sande, Tyler Ethridge, and Dale Beasley.
